Job Description: EYFS Teacher

The ideal candidate must have a good work ethic, be positive, enthusiastic, work well with others, and have a passion for pupils’ education. As a school, our pupils and their families are our priority. We aim to work in harmony to create a positive learning environment, and we expect all our staff to share this ethos. Our school is rated as ‘good’ by Ofsted, with positive feedback regarding pupil behaviour and class sizes generally around 25-30 pupils.

What is expected of you as an EYFS Teacher:
  1. Plan engaging and structured lessons based on a sound knowledge of the national curriculum.
  2. Implement positive behaviour management strategies within the classroom.
  3. Address gaps in learning and follow school strategies in your lesson plans.
  4. Build positive relationships with pupils to ensure they feel confident in the classroom.
  5. Adapt to changing circumstances.
  6. Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.

The school is easily accessible by car and public transport. We welcome candidates willing to commute, provided they manage their time accordingly.

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
