Job description

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher seeking a rewarding role within a Blackburn Primary School?

Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Blackburn to appoint a passionate EYFS Teacher. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons to our youngest learners.

Drawing upon your strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, you will create a stimulating and nurturing learning environment where children thrive. You will develop comprehensive lesson plans, assess and track children's progress, and work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for each child. Your passion for early years education and your ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes curiosity and independence.
  • Assess, monitor, and track children's progress and development, using this information to inform future planning.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other support staff to meet the diverse needs of all children.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to build strong home-school partnerships.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and ethos.
  • Keep up-to-date with current EYFS guidance and best practice.
  • Engage in relevant training and professional development opportunities.

But why Tradewind:

  • Dedicated consultants with expertise in Early Years and the local Blackburn area.
  • Guidance and support throughout the interview process.
  • Access to a wide range of CPD courses through the National College to enhance your EYFS skills.
  • Fair pay (PAYE), with reliable weekly payments and in-house payroll support.

We're looking for:

  • Qualified Early Years Teacher (EYTS/QTS) with a thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering engaging early years lessons within a primary school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • A proactive, organised approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine commitment to the progress and well-being of young children.
  • A DBS Child Only on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Benefits with Tradewind:

  • Access to valuable CPD resources via the National College, including EYFS specific training.
  • Excellent and personalised support from your dedicated consultant.
  • Competitive pay that reflects your experience and responsibilities.
  • Smooth and reliable payroll process.
  • The opportunity to make a significant impact on the early years education of children within a supportive Blackburn primary school.
