Job summary

About Early Years Ltd. is seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner for a school in Walsall to support a 2-year-old provision, alongside another practitioner, caring for seven children.

The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, 8:30–12:30, with duties including personal care and helping deliver the Primary EYFS curriculum. You must hold Level 2 EY qualification minimum; Level 3 TA qualification preferred; DBS and 2 references are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 Early Years qualification for ratio purposes.
• Level 3+ Teaching Assistant qualification preferred (NVQ/CACHE).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Clear Enhanced DBS/Update Service or plan to apply.
• Able to provide at least 2 references covering 2 years.
• Strong EYFS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support a 2-year-old provision alongside another practitioner.
• Work 5 days per week, 8:30–12:30.
• Provide personal care (nappy changing).
• Assist delivery of the Primary EYFS curriculum.
• Ensure safeguarding and DBS checks as required.
