Job summary

Clifford Community Primary School in Ipswich is seeking a caring SEND Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS team on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 12 months, with the potential to stay on. You will support children with additional needs to access learning and participate fully in the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions.
• Experience observing and reporting pupil progress.
• Commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.
• Patient, nurturing and resilient approach.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND children in EYFS to access learning and routines.
• Plan and deliver interventions such as Bucket Time and Intensive Interaction.
• Monitor and contribute to EHCPs and support plans.
• Work closely with the class teacher to maintain classroom rhythm.
• Help create an inclusive, welcoming learning environment.
