Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking an SEN Graduate Teaching Assistant to support pupils in an EYFS SEN Hub at a Good primary school in Stechford. You will assist with learning activities, routines and play-based learning, helping children gain confidence and communication skills.

Candidates should have a 2:2 degree in a related subject, a genuine interest in SEN, and a calm, nurturing approach. Enhanced DBS is required or willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree in Psychology, Education, Early Childhood Studies or related field.
• Genuine interest in supporting SEN in an EYFS setting.
• Strong communication skills with a calm, nurturing approach.
• Ability to support routines, play-based learning and positive interaction.
• Enhanced DBS certificate held or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within the EYFS SEN Hub, helping them engage with learning, routines and play-based activities.
• Work with small groups needing support with communication, social interaction, early development and confidence.
• Help create a calm, structured and nurturing environment where pupils feel safe and ready to learn.
