EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant

Lancaster

Full Time, Monday to Friday, Starting ASAP, Long Term Ongoing

Are you an experienced Early Years teaching assistant looking for a new opportunity?

Do you have SEN experience?

Tradewind is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated individual to join a Primary School in Lancaster, working as a Teaching Assistant in their reception class supporting children with SEN. The role is full-time, 5 days a week, starting ASAP. Working hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with daily pay rates of £89-£99.

As a teaching assistant, you will support the classroom teacher in creating a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include assisting with planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support for children with SEN, and helping to maintain a safe and orderly classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a passion for working with young children.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

• Hold an NVQ Level 2 qualification
• Have experience working with Early Years children
• SEN experience is an advantage
• Experience working in a relevant classroom environment
• Possess an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable), and professional references
• Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment where possible
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
