Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an EYFS / Reception Teacher for a Canvey Island primary school. You will lead a lively Reception class, designing play-based learning to foster early literacy, numeracy, and personal growth.

This full-time term-time role requires UK QTS and a passion for Early Years, with collaboration with TAs in a nurturing environment and opportunities to develop continuous provision and outdoor learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rich, pupil-led learning experiences in line with the Early Years Statutory Framework.
• Track early learning goals (ELGs) and record developmental milestones.
• Maintain a vibrant, continuous-provision environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Work alongside Early Years TAs to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.
