Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a Reception Graduate Teaching Assistant for a September 2026 start, based in Birmingham. You will support a Reception class across the EYFS curriculum, helping pupils settle, engage, and develop confidence throughout the school day.

You will work with children in small groups and 1:1 where needed, reinforcing communication, literacy and number skills while closely supporting the class teacher.

Qualifications

• Degree with 2:2 or above in a creative subject.
• Clear and confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Genuine interest in supporting pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Desire to train as a teacher and build a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Support EYFS curriculum in a Reception class.
