Job Title: EYFS Qualified Teaching Assistant
Location: Bishop Auckland
Rate: 110 - 120

Empowering Learning are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 or 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our fantastic nurseries in Bishop Auckland and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure the safety of all children.
  • Deliver the EYFS curriculum tailored to children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs.
  • Support children's learning and development through engaging play-based and sensory activities.
  • Act as a key person for a small group of children, building strong relationships with their families.
  • Monitor and track children's progress to ensure they meet their developmental milestones.
  • Plan creative and stimulating activities to keep children engaged throughout the day.
  • Help prepare children for the transition to school life, supporting their personal and academic development.
Key Requirements
  • Experience working in a pre-school or similar early years setting.
  • Level 3 Early Years Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Understanding of child development and relevant Early Years legislation.
  • Ability to implement an inclusive Early Years curriculum that accounts for the SEND Code of Practice, child protection, cultural diversity, and equal opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A caring, flexible, and friendly approach to working with children.
