Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking an Achievement Support Assistant to join our EYFS setting on a permanent basis. The role is 30 hours per week, term time only (190 days). The salary is £18,591 – £19,191 per annum.

The successful candidate will support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development, promote positive behaviour and work closely with staff to implement education plans and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an early years setting (EYFS).
• Ability to promote positive pupil behaviour and independence.
• Ability to provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress.

Responsibilities

• Set challenging expectations and promote self-esteem.
• Promote good pupil behaviour and manage conflicts.
• Support academic, social, emotional and development of pupils.
• Assist with Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care where needed.
• Provide regular feedback to teachers on pupil attainment and progress.
• Liaise with staff regarding safeguarding and wellbeing.
