Job summary

Arete Learning Trust in Northallerton is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to work with our Nursery practitioners, supporting the education and social development of our children under the direction of the Nursery Lead.

This permanent, term-time role (32.5 hours per week across 39 weeks per year) offers pro-rata pay based on full-time equivalent, with salary outlined and travel required to some extent.

Qualifications

• Experience in EYFS and understanding of child development.
• Ability to work in a team to support children and families.
• Proactive and positive approach to supporting learning and development.
• Commitment to supporting vulnerable children through plans.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive outlook.

Responsibilities

• Understand how to enable young children to learn, including those with SEND.
• Work as a member of a team to support children and their families.
