Qualifications

Job description

  • Job Title: EYFS Practitioner
  • Location: Acorn Park School, Norwich
  • Salary: GBP25,000 - GBP28,000 per annum
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

Job Purpose
  1. Assist in planning and implementing the EYFS and other programmes/strategies to promote effective teaching and learning within a specialist Autism School.
  2. Supervise the class and deliver pre-prepared activities during the class teacher's short-term absence.
  3. Support the class teacher in managing and organizing pupils and the classroom.
  4. Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment.
  5. Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils, ensuring equal learning opportunities.
  6. Promote and safeguard the welfare of pupils and young people within the school.
Qualifications Required
  • Level 3 Qualification such as Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
  • Level 3 Diploma in Pupil's Learning and Development
  • Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to Seven

Facilities include a Forest School, Animal Care Farm, sports hall, sensory rooms, and more, on a 30-acre rural Norfolk site.
