Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 qualifications in childcare or early years education.

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an EYFS Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Acorn Park School in Norwich.

Job purpose

1. Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing the EYFS and other national programmes/strategies, promoting effective teaching and learning within a specialist Autism School.
2. Supervise the class and deliver pre-prepared activities during the class teacher's short-term absence.
3. Support the management and organization of pupils and the classroom.
4. Help create and maintain a purposeful, orderly, and supportive learning environment.
5. Promote inclusion and acceptance, ensuring equal opportunities for all pupils.
6. Safeguard the welfare of pupils and young people in the school.

Qualifications required

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
• Level 3 Diploma in Pupil's Learning and Development
• Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to Seven
