Job summary

Academics is working with a welcoming primary school in Newham to recruit a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for October 2026. The role is full-time, term-time, 8:30am-3:30pm, and located in Newham, East London.

You will support children's learning and development in a Nursery setting, assist the class teacher, and provide SEN support within a nurturing environment. Salary is paid per day and will reflect experience and school pay policy.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Childcare or Teaching Assistant studies.
• Experience in Early Years, preferably Nursery or primary.
• Experience supporting children with SEN using differentiated strategies.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development within a Nursery environment.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school team to provide high-quality support.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
