Academics is proud to be working with a fantastic primary school in Wandsworth, who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS practitioner to support children’s learning and development within a nurturing Nursery environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, providing high‑quality support to pupils, including children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Role Details

• Start Date: September 2026 ASAP - July 2026
• Location: Wandsworth, South West London
• Contract: Full‑time, term‑time
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm
• Pay: £95 per day, dependent on experience

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, Teaching Assistant studies, or a related field.
• Have proven experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally within a Nursery or primary school environment.
• Have experience supporting children with SEN, including adapting activities, using differentiated strategies, and providing personalised support.
• Have a strong understanding of EYFS principles and a genuine passion for supporting children’s early development.
• Be caring, patient, enthusiastic, and nurturing in their approach.
• Be confident working as part of a team and able to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents/carers.
• Be committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
