Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd in Stoke Mandeville, Buckinghamshire, is sourcing a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from January 2027. The role is full-time and focuses on supporting children's early development in a vibrant EYFS setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher, support a creative EYFS curriculum, run small groups, monitor progress, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and a patient, supportive manner.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Confidence in applying behaviour strategies in Early Years.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of a creative and purposeful EYFS curriculum.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development.
• Provide nurturing support that encourages independence, curiosity, and confidence.
• Assist in monitoring and recording children's progress.
• Organise resources and maintain an inviting, safe classroom environment.
• Build constructive relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies appropriate to Early Years settings.
