Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking a Level 2/Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming preschool in Buckhurst Hill / Epping, Essex, on a permanent, full-time basis. Immediate start available.

You will deliver play-based learning, support children's communication, social and early learning foundations, and collaborate with the team to nurture confidence and independence in young learners.

Strong safeguarding awareness and DBS clearance are expected, along with a commitment to inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Level 2/Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Experience working with children in a preschool, nursery or EYFS setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• Genuine passion for supporting young children's learning

Location: Buckhurst Hill / Epping, Essex Salary: 1,800 - 2,300 per month Start Date: Immediate Contract: Permanent Full-time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 2 or Level 3 qualified EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming preschool in the Epping area on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working as part of the preschool team, you will support young children through engaging, play-based learning activities, helping them develop their communication, social skills, independence and early learning foundations.

This nurturing preschool provides a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, learn and develop at their own pace. The team is committed to supporting children's individual needs, building confidence and creating positive early learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

Essential:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Experience working with children in a preschool, nursery or EYFS setting
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development

Desirable:

• Previous experience working as an EYFS Practitioner
• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• Paediatric First Aid qualification
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
• Experience planning and delivering play-based learning activities
