Academics is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support an EYFS class in Camden, starting October 2026. This full-time temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping pupils learn and contributing to a positive classroom environment.

You will work closely with the class teacher, provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, and help maintain clear routines and a calm, inclusive atmosphere throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
• Experience working within EYFS.
• Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within an EYFS class during lessons and structured activities.
• Work with the class teacher to support learning, engagement and independence.
• Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups as required.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and participation in learning.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and daily routines.
