Job summary

Manor Park Primary School in Coventry invites applications for an enthusiastic EYFS Learning Support Assistant to work within KS2. The role focuses on supporting teaching and learning and joining the LSA team with flexibility to meet pupil needs.

You will be part of safeguarding and pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS, and work in a warm, supportive environment that values inclusion and high-quality teaching.

Qualifications

  • Good Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ 2 or GCSE (A-C grades) in English and Maths.
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent, Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning and be an integral part of the LSA team.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the children and school.
  • Support safeguarding and welfare as required.

What is the job role?

Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Learning Support Assistant to work in KS2.

The role will involve supporting teaching and learning and being an integral part of the LSA team. A degree of flexibility is required to meet the needs of the children and school.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.

Who are we looking for?

Applicants should have:

Good Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ 2 or GCSE (A-C grades) in English and Maths

NVQ 3 or equivalent, Teaching Assistant
