Job summary

Bright Horizons Purley Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible practitioner to join the Bright Flex/Bank team at Purley. You will support EYFS delivery and engage children in educational activities, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

You should have a Level 2+ Early Years qualification and prior experience with children; safeguarding knowledge and adaptability are essential. DBS checks are required before appointment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with the delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities
• Encourage children's development towards key milestones
• Work as part of a larger team to complete daily tasks such as room tidying and preparation
