Job summary

Bright Horizons Shoreham by Sea Nursery is seeking a flexible Bright Flex/Bank practitioner to support EYFS delivery, engage children, and help them reach key milestones. You will work with a supportive team to complete daily tasks like room tidying and preparation.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, DBS checks, and delivering high-quality care with a focus on learning through play. A Level 3+ Early Years qualification is required.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with EYFS delivery through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.
• Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
