Job summary

Wiltshire Council’s Education and Skills Directorate seeks an Early Years Advisory Teacher to raise standards across the South Wiltshire early years network. You will lead in a designated community area, offering training and on-site support to pre-schools, nurseries, childminders and reception classes, with regular travel and some evening/ weekend commitments.

We require a qualified teacher with at least three years’ EYFS teaching experience, strong EYFS knowledge, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with EYFS expertise and at least 3 years' EYFS teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum, assessment, and national legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work across Wiltshire.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support, training and challenge to early years settings.
• Take strategic responsibility for a designated community area.
• Travel regularly across Wiltshire for training and on-site visits.
