Job summary

Boots Opticians in the UK is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our store team, serving customers on the shop floor and helping them find the right eyewear and services. You’ll participate in pre-screening activities for eye-tests and build great relationships with customers by listening and understanding their needs.

Based in-store and reporting to the store manager, you’ll benefit from our Step Into Optics training, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to dispensing, eye-tests support,

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Retail or clinical environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions
• Maintaining shop floor standards
