Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking a Retail Assistant to join our store team. You will greet customers, listen to their needs and help them choose eyewear solutions while participating in eye-care activities and the Boots Step Into Optics training programme.

Based in store, you will support dispensing glasses, contact lenses, eye-tests pre-screening and aftercare, while keeping shop standards high and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Experience in retail or clinical environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
