Do you enjoy working with machinery, following detailed process instructions and producing high-quality work where accuracy really matters? We are looking for an Extrusions Press Operator / Press Driver to join our Manchester production team, with a specific focus on our weld rod extrusion area.
This is a hands‑on production role in a specialist manufacturing environment, operating extrusion press equipment and supporting the delivery of consistent, high‑quality weld rod products. You will play an important part in maintaining process control, checking work carefully, recording production information accurately and escalating anything that does not look right.
Quality is central to this role. We need someone who can follow instructions exactly, work to agreed procedures without shortcuts and complete production records clearly, accurately and on time. You will be joining a production team where quality matters, your attention to detail will be visible, and the work you complete will support products used across demanding and highly regulated industries.
This role would suit someone who enjoys practical manufacturing, understands the importance of following process instructions, and wants to contribute to a team focused on safe, reliable and right-first-time production. If you are careful, disciplined and proud of producing high-quality work, we would like to hear from you.
