Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Extra Care Scheme in the community. You will help elderly residents with physical frailty to stay as independent as possible, assisting with mobility, dining, social spaces and privacy in their rooms on request.

You will support people with personal care tasks such as washing, hygiene and dressing, and encourage participation in group and individual recreational activities to promote wellbeing and social engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly individuals with physical frailty to maintain independence, help with mobility to dining areas, communal spaces, and back to rooms on request.
• Support people with personal care tasks such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.
• Encourage participation in physical and mental stimulation through recreational and social activities, individually and in groups.
