Radis Community Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Extra Care Scheme in the community. You will help elderly residents with physical frailty to stay as independent as possible, assisting with mobility, dining, social spaces and privacy in their rooms on request.
You will support people with personal care tasks such as washing, hygiene and dressing, and encourage participation in group and individual recreational activities to promote wellbeing and social engagement.
As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.
The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.
