Job summary

Salter Grange Limited is seeking an experienced External Site Manager for a major residential development in South East London. The role focuses on delivering external works across a large, multi-phase project.

You will coordinate landscaping, paving, drainage and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality while reporting progress to the senior site team and stakeholders throughout the programme.

Qualifications

• External works/public realm experience on major residential schemes.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid required; knowledge of mixed brickwork and precast facades.
• Experience managing external subcontractors across multiple blocks/phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage external works across a large residential development.
• Coordinate landscaping and hard landscaping packages.
• Oversee paving, kerbing, roads, footpaths and public realm works.
• Manage drainage and associated external infrastructure.
• Coordinate subcontractors and labour.
• Manage daily site activities and sequencing of works.
• Monitor progress against programme.
• Ensure works meet specification and quality standards.
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging.
• Coordinate external works with wider construction team and residential blocks.
• Maintain high health & safety standards on site.
• Attend meetings and provide progress updates to senior site team.
