Position: Exterior Maintenance Technician

Location: Selby

Contract: Full Time 42.5 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Basic salary £27,340 per annum (40hr Week)

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

As an Exterior Maintenance Technician, you will work on-site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our growing exterior customer base.

Your main duties will include:

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Shrub pruning, plant care, and hedge cutting
• Weed maintenance
• Using a range of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment
• Completing all digital records via smartphone applications
• Liaising with customers
• Autumn clearing
• Spring preparation
• Mowing
• Heavy lifting will be required

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK driver’s license
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge is advantageous
• Horticultural qualification is desirable but not essential

As part of your role, you will be required to:

• Always act professionally as a representative of the organization
• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Ensure client satisfaction
• Suggest improvements to organizational performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork promptly
