Urban Planters in the UK is seeking a Landscaping Operative to join a small, busy team. You will travel between client sites in the company van and support both soft and hard landscaping projects, ensuring high standards of service.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence and plant knowledge, with excellent verbal and written communication. The salary starts at £29,431 per annum, with progression opportunities in a growing interior and exterior planting business.

Position: Landscaping Operative

Location: Alfreton

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Basic salary from £29,431 per annum

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Landscaping Operative, you will travel between sites in the company van ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.

This is an opportunity for someone to work within a small landscaping team assisting with projects requiring both soft and hard landscaping. A large amount of travel is involved within this role

Your main duties will include:

• To assist with the completion of landscaping dockets
• To complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in promptly
• To act at all times as a representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied
• To initiate suggestions and report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance
• To comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Undertake other duties as required by management

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
