Urban Planters is seeking a Landscaping Operative to join our team in Alfreton. You will travel between sites in the company van, delivering high-quality planting services across the UK network as part of a small landscaping team.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and experience in garden maintenance, with opportunities to work on both soft and hard landscaping projects. A competitive salary and progression prospects are on offer.

• Assist with the completion of landscaping dockets
• Complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in promptly
• Act at all times as a representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions and report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance
• Comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Undertake other duties as required by management

Job description

Position: Landscaping Operative

Location:Alfreton

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Basic salary from £29,431 per annum

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Landscaping Operative, you will travel between sites in the company van ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base.

This is an opportunity for someone to work within a small landscaping team assisting with projects requiring both soft and hard landscaping. A large amount of travel is involved within this role

Your main duties will include:

• To assist with the completion of landscaping dockets
• To complete timesheets and ensure all paperwork is handed in promptly
• To act at all times as a representative of the company and ensure that the customer is completely satisfied
• To initiate suggestions and report customer comments for improvement to the company’s performance
• To comply with all relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Undertake other duties as required by management
