Job summary

Crowcon in Abingdon, United Kingdom, is seeking a shipping administrator to support outbound logistics and customer invoicing processes. You will create shipping documentation, issue documentation to customers and forwarders, and handle dangerous goods compliance while meeting delivery dates.

Key duties include coordinating with freight forwarders, preparing chamber of commerce certificates, resolving delivery issues, and assisting with reports to help the team hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Create shipping documentation, invoices, packing lists, and other outbound documents.
• Issue documentation to customers and logistics providers for outbound shipments.
• Book collections with freight forwarders and couriers.
• Prepare documents for submission to chambers of commerce (Certificate of Origin, EUR1, etc.).
• Handle Dangerous Goods shipments and ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Investigate and resolve delivery issues reported by customers or the Relationship Team.
• Support the Logistics Team to meet customer required dates.
• Escalate sales order errors that may prevent shipment.
• Assist with booking in Sales Return Order process.
• Provide import instructions to logistics providers for returns and service items.
• Provide holiday and sickness cover.
• Ensure transportation standards and legal compliances are followed for all shipments.
• Advise other departments of shipping costs, weights, and dimensions.
• Follow shipping procedures and country-specific compliances.
• Invoice orders in NAV at the correct point (Incoterm specific).
• Assist Shipping Team Leader with reports and departmental targets.
• Carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by manager.

• Provide import instructions to logistics providers for sales returns and service items.
