Detail 2 Limited is seeking an Export Operations Coordinator for deep sea groupage in Thurrock. The role is office based, full-time, Monday to Friday 08:30–17:30, and involves handling live bookings, sourcing rates, arranging haulage and completing paperwork.

The successful candidate will have solid deep sea export operations experience, with strong knowledge of groupage and consol work, AMS/ISF filing and UK export procedures.

Qualifications

• Solid deep sea export operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of groupage and consol export.
• Experience with AMS and ISF filings.
• Familiarity with UK export customs procedures and CDS entries.
• Excellent written and spoken English; ability to draft clear, professional emails.
• Organised and accurate with multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

• Sort the export inbox and respond to general export queries from customers.
• Handle rate requests from overseas agents.
• Enter bookings and arrange UK haulage.
• Carry out load planning, mainly for the USA but covering all destinations.
• Input and submit AMS and ISF filings.
• Arrange CDS entries.
• Keep customers and agents updated on shipment status.
• Deal with problems as they arise and resolve them with the relevant party.
• Ensure paperwork and filings are completed accurately and on time across all live shipments.
