Job summary

Numatic International in Chard, Somerset, is seeking an Export Dispatch Team Leader to support the Supervisor in day-to-day export dispatch operations. You will coordinate resources, lead a small team, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires leadership experience in warehousing, familiarity with WMS and Oracle, and a proactive, communicative approach.

Qualifications

Experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or operations team environment.
Previous team leadership, coaching, or people management experience.
Good understanding of company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Oracle (desirable).
FLT experience or willingness to undertake training.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

Support the Supervisor with daily operations, ensuring work is allocated and prioritised to maximise productivity.
Coordinate people, resources, and processes to meet targets and service levels.
Set clear team objectives, delegate tasks, and monitor progress.
Promote continuous improvement by identifying more efficient ways of working.
Lead by example and uphold Health & Safety, Quality, Security and Conduct standards.
Coach, mentor and support team members to high standards of quality and attendance.
