Job summary

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in a role involving use of explosives in an industrial environment.
- Degree in a science or engineering discipline preferably related to mining, quarrying or geology.
- Specialist training in Shotfiring, Explosives Supervisor, blast design software, photogrammetry, and drone operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain safe and best practice in all activities.
- Ensure compliance with procedures and practices.
- Develop procedures to support new technologies.
- Undertake site drone surveys.
- Process data for fragmentation and blast performance analysis.
- Monitor vibration units and calibrate blasting equipment.
- Provide project/blast consultancy and statistical analysis.
- Maintain good customer relations and support industry training.
