Job summary

Crown Garage in Norwich is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our independent, established workshop. You will handle servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles, with the possibility of MOT testing if qualified. We offer a 42.5 hour week, Monday–Friday, no weekends, and a salary of £35,000–£45,000 DOE.

Qualifications

• Has Level 3 qualifications or equivalent experience
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Holds a full UK driving licence
• MOT testing experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• General mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension and steering
• Tyres, wheel-related work and air-conditioning
• MOT testing, if qualified

THE ROLE

You'll work on a varied range of vehicles, carrying out:

• Servicing and maintenance
• Diagnostics and fault-finding
• General mechanical repairs
• Brakes, suspension and steering
• Tyres and wheel-related work
• Air-conditioning
• MOT testing, if qualified

You'll work alongside an experienced technician and apprentice, with our director also working in the workshop and carrying out MOTs.

ARE YOU THE RIGHT PERSON?

We're looking for someone who:

• Has Level 3 qualifications or equivalent experience
• Is confident diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Takes pride in producing quality work
• Can work independently and use their initiative
• Is reliable, professional and a good team player
• Holds a full UK driving licence

Already an MOT tester? Excellent.

Not qualified yet? No problem. We'll pay for your MOT tester training if you're the right person for the role.
