Job summary

Milk Education is supporting Primary Schools across Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Durham by recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. We’re looking for dedicated individuals to provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions, and help manage behaviour while working closely with teachers and staff.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a Primary School or education setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Experience working with children, young people or adults in a professional capacity within the last 5 years.
