Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting an Experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in primary schools across Sunderland, South Tyneside, Gateshead, North Tyneside and Durham. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time opportunities and a supportive, safeguarding‑focused environment.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with phonics, literacy and numeracy interventions, promote positive behaviour and work closely with teachers and school staff to help

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a Primary School or education setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is advantageous.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• A positive, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Experience working with children, young people or adults in a professional capacity within the last 5 years.
