We are currently looking for experienced classroom support staff to work in primary and secondary schools across the Macclesfield area. This role is well-suited to individuals who have worked in educational settings and are confident supporting pupils and teachers in a classroom environment.
Experience is essential, and while formal qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate are desirable, they are not required if you have strong, relevant classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting teachers with the delivery of lessons and classroom management
Assisting pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
Helping to prepare learning materials and classroom resources
Supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND
Promoting positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment
Engaging in wider school life where needed
Requirements:
Previous experience providing classroom support (ideally 6–12 months or more)
A proactive, flexible, and reliable approach
Confidence working with children and young people across a range of abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
