We are recruiting experienced Social Workers with a range of skills and experience.
These full-time permanent roles are available in our Sandwich or Dover Community Teams. We operate in a hybrid model of office-based and remote working to meet service needs.
£3000 Golden Hello payment to all new joiners (subject to criteria) and service-related payments following continuous service.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our community teams across Kent as we enhance our locality working practice, focusing on person-centered and good practice.
We work with adults with various care and support needs, placing individuals at the center of their support. Responsibilities include Care Act Assessments, Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Assessments, Court of Protection applications, and s42 safeguarding enquiries.
Our interventions are based on excellent practice, innovation, and meaningful measures, emphasizing relationship-building with individuals, families, and carers. We engage communities early to empower people to find trusted local help and support.
We welcome applications from experienced social workers with post-qualification experience in Social Services, health agencies, or related private or voluntary organizations.
You will hold registration with a professional body (Social Work England, HCPC, Nursing and Midwifery Council) and be competent at the Experienced Practitioner level of the Social Care Capabilities Framework.
You should have experience in managing and reducing risk, completing safeguarding enquiries, and supervising staff.
A high level of literacy and communication skills, both verbal and written, is essential.

We are moving towards an 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week service to meet increasing public accessibility needs.
This position requires an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service and relevant professional qualifications (Social Work, Nursing, Occupational Therapy). Registration with the appropriate professional body must be current.
This is a customer-facing role, and the council has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure candidates have sufficient spoken English/Welsh skills for effective performance.
