Job description

Social Worker Job Opportunity

We are recruiting experienced social workers with a range of skills and experience for various roles. Both permanent, full-time, and part-time positions are available.

All new joiners are eligible for a £3000 Golden Hello payment (subject to criteria), along with service-related payments following continuous employment.

About Us

Join our community teams across Kent to enhance locality working practices, focusing on person-centered and best practice approaches.

We work with adults with diverse care and support needs, involving assessments such as Care Act and Mental Capacity Act (MCA), Court of Protection applications, and safeguarding enquiries.

Our practice is built on three pillars: excellent practice, innovation, and meaningful measures. We prioritize building relationships with individuals, families, and carers, engaging early with communities to empower local support options.

About You

We seek experienced social workers with post-qualification experience in social services, health agencies, or related organizations. Applicants must hold registration with Social Work England and be capable of working at the Experienced Practitioner level of the Social Care Capabilities Framework.

Experience in risk management, safeguarding, and supervising staff is essential. A positive, forward-thinking attitude and strengths-based practice approach are highly valued.

This role requires a Full UK Driving Licence. We are committed to reasonable adjustments for applicants with disabilities, and applications will be considered accordingly.

Our Support Offer

We offer a competitive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, market premium payments (subject to eligibility), generous leave, and the local government pension scheme.

Opportunities for professional development are available through our social care academy, progression routes, and practice framework. We support skill development in areas like Mental Health Professional Training and Practice Educator Training.

You will receive regular supervision and opportunities for reflection and career progression. As we expand our service hours to 8 am - 8 pm, 7 days a week, we aim to be increasingly accessible to the public.

This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service and registration with Social Work England. It is a customer-facing role requiring a command of spoken English/Welsh, in accordance with statutory duties.
