Responsibilities

• Opening and securing the premises in accordance with school procedures.
• Completing daily inspections of buildings and external areas.
• Carrying out minor repairs, maintenance and basic decorating.
• Checking doors, windows, lighting and other facilities.
• Preparing classrooms and communal spaces for meetings and events.
• Assisting with the movement of furniture and equipment.
• Maintaining outdoor areas and reporting potential hazards.
• Monitoring deliveries and providing access for authorised contractors.
• Supporting fire safety checks and emergency procedures.
• Reporting significant repairs and maintenance concerns.
• Ensuring site security procedures are followed.
• Responding to maintenance issues during the school day.
