Job summary

Eventus Legal in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Paralegal for a full‑time, permanent, office‑based role within a supportive team. You will progress sale transactions under supervision and assist fee earners across a varied property caseload.

Salary is up to £32,000 with 26 days’ annual leave (rising to 31 with service), bank holidays and an extra day off for your birthday, plus a medical cash plan and life insurance worth twice your salary.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience in a comparable residential conveyancing position.
• Sound understanding of residential conveyancing procedures, particularly sale and purchase transactions.
• Excellent client care skills and a proactive communication approach.
• Confidence liaising with clients and third parties involved in property transactions.
• Strong written communication and accuracy in documents and correspondence.
• Ability to organise work and progress several matters at different stages.

Responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners across a varied caseload of residential property transactions
• Managing and progressing residential sale matters under supervision
• Assisting with progression of residential purchase transactions
• Taking instructions and responding to client enquiries throughout the conveyancing process
• Keeping clients, estate agents, financial advisers, mortgage lenders and other parties informed of progress
• Preparing correspondence, forms and legal documents per instructions
• Submitting post-completion registration applications to HM Land Registry
