Job summary

Operam Education Group is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the Provide Education team in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. The role focuses on building a SAFS desk, managing relationships with schools and candidates, and growing the temp recruitment business.

You will develop commercial acumen, win new business, and maintain a strong candidate network while working towards ambitious targets in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Provide Education team in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.

We’re looking for someone with a strong recruitment background, ideally from a temporary recruitment environment, who knows how to build a desk, develop relationships and keep things moving.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working across our SAFS desk, building relationships with schools and candidates and growing your market.

You’ll be:

• Managing and developing your own SAFS desk
• Building strong relationships with schools and clients
• Winning new business and developing existing accounts
• Building and maintaining a strong candidate network
• Managing a busy temporary recruitment pipeline
• Making placements and managing the process from start to finish
• Negotiating rates and developing your client base
• Working towards targets and being rewarded for your results

Who are we looking for?

This role is aimed at someone who already has recruitment experience.

We’re particularly interested in people with a background in temporary recruitment.

You’ll ideally be someone who:

• Has proven recruitment consultancy experience
• Has worked on a temporary desk
• Understands the pace and demands of temp recruitment
• Is commercially driven and confident with business development
• Enjoys building relationships and winning new business
• Is comfortable working to targets
• Takes ownership of their desk
• Is motivated by progression and earning potential

Education recruitment experience isn’t essential.
