Job summary

Operam Education Group is seeking an Experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the Teachers UK East Midlands team, focusing on the Secondary education market. You’ll inherit a warm desk, nurture existing school relationships and win new business.

This role rewards proactive networking, clear targets and career progression within a collaborative, award-winning culture that emphasises support, progression and practical outcomes for candidates and schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or education recruitment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an established, warm Secondary desk.
• Develop existing school relationships and win new business.
• Grow your candidate network and build a strong pipeline.
• Negotiate rates and close deals with schools and candidates.
• Progress the desk by meeting clear targets and expanding opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Operam Education team to drive results.

Warm Desk (Secondary)

You already know recruitment. You know how to build a desk, pick up the phone, win business and make placements.

So, what if your next move gave you the chance to do all of thatwith a warm desk, more support, more opportunity and plenty of room to progress?

We re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Teachers UK team in the East Midlands, working across the Secondary education market.

And honestly, this isn t about starting again.

You ll be stepping into a warm desk with an established market and the opportunity to take it further.

What could your next move look like?

You ll have the opportunity to really make the desk your own.

You ll be building on existing relationships, developing new business, growing your candidate network and looking for opportunities to take the desk to the next level.

You ll have ownership of your market, but you ll also have the wider Operam team around you. You won t be expected to figure everything out on your own.

You ll be:

• Taking ownership of an established, warm Secondary desk
• Developing existing school relationships and winning new business
• Growing your candidate network
• Managing your own pipeline and revenue
• Negotiating rates and closing deals
• Building on existing opportunities rather than starting from scratch
• Working towards clear targets and being rewarded for your results
• Having the opportunity to grow your desk and progress your career

Who are we looking for?

Someone who knows recruitment and wants more from their next move.

You might already be working in education recruitment, or you could be an experienced consultant from another recruitment market.

Either way, we want someone who is:
