Job summary

Simply is seeking conveyancers, legal executives and solicitors with leasehold experience to join our team of property experts. You will manage a substantial caseload of freehold and leasehold transactions, draft contracts and deeds, and coordinate with clients, agents, lenders and authorities to keep matters progressing smoothly.

You should have solid residential conveyancing experience and be able to communicate complex legal information clearly to clients while maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Qualified or highly experienced in residential conveyancing is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of property law and leasehold matters.
• Ability to explain complex legal information clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage circa 60-65 caseloads of freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other documents for clients.
• Coordinate with clients, agents, lenders and authorities to progress matters.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
• Develop relationships with clients and agents to foster repeat business.

We’re looking for passionate conveyancers, legal executives and solicitors with leasehold experience to join our team of property experts who are committed to quality, service and continuous improvement.

Onboarding Date

What you’ll do

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseload of freehold sales and purchases, and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other legal documents, providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction
• Coordinate effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents, delivering an exceptional service that inspires trust and repeat business

What you bring

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or highly experienced in residential conveyancing is a PLUS!
• Solid experience in property / conveyancing law
• Proven experience handling leasehold conveyancing matters
• Good working knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation
• Strong client care skills – we strive to communicate complex legal information clearly
• Ability to manage and prioritise a caseload and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and a risk-aware approach to work
• Competent user of Microsoft Office and case management systems
