Job summary

Simply is seeking experienced conveyancers, legal executives or solicitors with leasehold expertise to join a team of property specialists. The role involves handling a sizeable caseload across freehold and leasehold matters, drafting contracts and providing practical advice to clients throughout transactions.

You will coordinate with clients, agents, lenders and authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive, licensed conveyancer or residential conveyancing experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of property/conveyancing law, including leasehold matters.
• Excellent client care and ability to explain complex legal info clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseloads of freehold and leasehold conveyancing matters.
• Draft/review contracts, deeds and documents with clear guidance for clients.
• Coordinate with clients, agents, lenders and authorities to progress matters smoothly.

Our Property Lawyers at Simply are trusted experts who bring advanced technical leasehold skill, excellent service and a collaborative spirit to every stage of the conveyancing journey.

We're looking for passionate conveyancers, legal executives and solicitors with leasehold experience to join our team of property experts who are committed to quality, service and continuous improvement.

Onboarding Date:

• Monday, January 11th, 2027
• Monday, February 08th, 2027

Locations:

• Hybrid opportunities in Daventry (2-3 days at office)

What you'll do:

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseload of freehold sales and purchases, and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other legal documents, providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction
• Coordinate effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents, delivering an exceptional service that inspires trust and repeat business

What you bring:

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or highly experienced in residential conveyancing is a PLUS!
• Solid experience in property / conveyancing law
• Proven experience handling leasehold conveyancing matters
• Good working knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation
• Strong client care skills - we strive to communicate complex legal information clearly
• Ability to manage and prioritise a caseload and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and a risk-aware approach to work
• Competent user of Microsoft Office and case management systems
