Simply Conveyancing Group is seeking an experienced conveyancer to join our Property Law team in Leeds. You will manage a busy mix of freehold and leasehold matters, drafting and reviewing contracts and deeds, and guiding clients through complex transactions.

Ideal candidates bring solid residential conveyancing experience, strong knowledge of Land Registry processes, and excellent client care. We offer hybrid working in Leeds, a competitive salary, and a supportive environment focused on growth

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent with residential conveyancing experience.
• Strong leasehold conveyancing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and deadline management.
• Solid knowledge of Land Registry and title documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsabilités

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseloads of freehold and leasehold conveyancing.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other legal documents for clients.
• Coordinate with clients, agents, lenders and authorities to progress matters smoothly.
• Maintain compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents, driving trust and repeat business.

• Hybrid opportunities in Leeds (2-3 days at office)

What You’ll Do

• Manage circa 60-65 varied caseload of freehold sales and purchases, and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Draft and review contracts, deeds and other legal documents, providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the transaction
• Coordinate effectively with clients, estate agents, lenders, local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure matters progress smoothly and efficiently
• Maintain compliance with all relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and best practice
• Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients and agents, delivering an exceptional service that inspires trust and repeat business

What You Bring

• Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer or highly experienced in residential conveyancing is a PLUS!
• Solid experience in property / conveyancing law
• Proven experience handling leasehold conveyancing matters
• Good working knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation
• Strong client care skills – we strive to communicate complex legal information clearly
• Ability to manage and prioritise a caseload and meet deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and a risk-aware approach to work
• Competent user of Microsoft Office and case management systems
