Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Production Engineer in Buckingham to develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for high quality, cost-efficient output. Qualifications

• Experience delivering manufacturing process improvements.
• Experience supporting product introductions, process development, and production improvements.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, process validation, and manufacturing best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to achieve high levels of quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance.
• Review and optimise manufacturing methods, tooling, and materials to support cost reduction initiatives.
• Lead continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations.
• Support quality investigations and implement robust root cause corrective actions.
• Lead and facilitate continuous improvement teams focused on operational performance.
• Create, maintain, and manage key process documentation (PFMEAs, Control Plans, work instructions, SOPs).
• Develop and support manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Support integration of BOMs, routing structures, and ERP requirements.
• Assist with manufacturing cost assessments and process validation activities.
• Conduct component and process reviews to support tooling, equipment, and production readiness.
• Support engineering and manufacturing teams in delivering projects and objectives.
• Drive Design for Manufacture (DFM) throughout product development lifecycle.
• Support risk assessments and process capability studies.
• Assist with project development activities and engineering reviews.
• Lead or support prototype, trial, and pre-production builds.
• Provide ongoing manufacturing support for transition to full production.
• Ensure all activities comply with Health & Safety and 5S standards.
