Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Havant, Hampshire is seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join a manufacturing business. The role focuses on providing technical support to production, resolving manufacturing issues, and driving safety, quality, efficiency and cost improvements.

You will work with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams, implement Lean and continuous improvement, create SOPs and process docs, and support ECOs and process changes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a Production, Manufacturing or Process Engineering environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Lean / Continuous Improvement.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and technical documentation.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production.
• Investigate and resolve process, equipment and quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing activities.
• Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation.
• Support ECOs, MCDs and process changes.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance teams.
• Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes and productivity.
